Curling Practice Ice Availability
Practice ice is available during regular Curling Centre operating hours and is scheduled around league play and maintenance. Most practice sessions are reservable in 1-hr blocks, though durations may vary depending on occasion depending on other facility activities.
Access & Membership
A Curling Practice ice fee of $15/person/hour applies to all Curling Centre users, and the practice fee will be waived for those with a valid SLSC Membership.
- ALL users must complete enrollment with their own SLSC account.
- If you are a Punch Pass Holder, you will need to Check-In at the Guest Services Desk.

Registration Tips
You will be asked to answer a mandatory question during the enrollment process:
Are you the primary person booking Ice? Only one person in your group/team should answer YES to this question
Your options to answer will be:
YES - I am the primary person booking ice. (only if available)
- OR -
NO - I am joining someone who has reserved ice.
Then you will be asked to Please list your teammates name/s:
List anyone who you are practicing with or put N/A if you are practicing solo. This helps us understand who is practicing with who.
*If the enrollment won’t let you answer YES to the question, and the only option to answer is NO, that means that the time slot you have selected is now fully booked. Please try another time slot.
If you have successfully completed the enrollment process you do not need to visit Guest Services for a wrist band, you may proceed directly to the Curling Centre.
Footwear Requirements
All users must wear clean, indoor-only shoes on the ice. Rubber-soled runners are ideal. Winter boots and outdoor footwear are not permitted. Please use the locker rooms or the hallway's middle door to access the rink and change your shoes.
Youth Safety
For children aged 12 and under, helmets and parental supervision are required at all times while on the ice.
