SENIOR MEN'S LEAGUE
The Cochrane Senior Men's Curling Club is a 50+ Men's recreational league that curls Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10am. The league welcomes all male curlers of various abilities. Curling commences in October for the first half of the season and January for the second half.
Prior to the start of the Fall and Winter Leagues individuals who sign up are selected by designated skips at a draft held just before league play begins. Our league strives to make teams as fair and equal as possible.
Curlers can choose to curl Wednesdays and/or Fridays. The first round of Fall curling begins early October and finishes December. New teams are formed in January and all curlers have the option to withdraw or join the Wednesday and/or Friday Leagues which run to late March.

STURLING LEAGUE
The goal of the Sturling League is to keep curlers curling! If you want to keep curling but your sore knees, hips, or back are telling you otherwise, this is the game for you. Unlike traditional curling, Sturling teams need only two players - each player throws six rocks (three ends each) in a six end game that lasts for an hour. Sturling involves less sweeping than traditional curling as there is no sweeping between the hog lines. The game is designed for continuous play, with each player actively involved in shot-making and strategic thinking. This gives players the opportunity to participate in a fast paced game that is fun! Both stick and hack deliveries are allowed. More information can be found at www.sturling.net.
We have two leagues – a Social League and a Team League. If you have a partner, you can register in either or both leagues. If you don’t have a partner, you can register in Social Sturling (and we’ll find a partner for you). Please look under the Social and Team Sturling leagues on this website for more information.

GOODTIMERS FUN LEAGUE
The Goodtimers League is a mixed open league mostly composed of retired and semi-retired (50+) men and women at all skill levels (stick or hack) who enjoy curling simply for the joy of curling and being social. We are a non-competitive league that meets Mondays from 10 to Noon and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2:30. We welcome all curlers, particularly those curlers who haven’t curled in many years and want to get back into curling for the exercise. And we want to encourage any want-to-be curlers with no or limited experience to join us too -- we offer on-ice training for beginners! We curl with four member-teams usually for 8 ends. We form different teams for each of the fall and winter curling sessions. If you prefer to spare, we would like to hear from you as well. We hold a banquet at the end of the season.
